The children of the most high are undergoing the same kind of suffering. Remember always you’re not alone. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is with his children always. Draw near to him that he may draw near to you. 🙏 Also remember, our Father will also isolate his children to teach them. Read about many prophets (even John on the isle of Patmos) that were isolated that our Father would teach them. Just use discernment and prayer to know who the isolation is coming from. Tell him kick rocks n get lost! On the days when it is hard find the light, you might just be the bit light for someone else who is watching how you are handling the low places.

I'm now a single Mom. Not by choice, but by divorce. My ex is supposed to have a life insurance policy on himself incase anything happens I will still be able to take care of our last son(age 13) at home. He has refused to get one ao far. He says it's morbid for me to even ask 😢😢 I still need to get a Lady Bird clause for my home so my kids can at least have that. I have been praying for you and will continue, Lori.

My husband and I eat at the same pizza place every Friday night, and I don’t ever regret that time with him. I may just have to do something special on Tuesday now. Even in your grief, you continue to encourage others. I love your morning messages and have for quite some time. You have been in my prayers everyday. My husband died unexpectedly 7 months ago. He was young and so now I am a young widow. Everyone says I’m so strong and you are too!! What people don’t understand is that you have to be strong. Yes you can breakdown at times but on a daily basis you have to put one foot in front of the other and be present especially if you have kids. My teen son needs me and I’m strong because of and for him. God Bless you and your family!

I understand because I too, am walking in this dark valley. Although I am much older than you, our grief still brings us both to our knees. I just read today that the only way to get through grief is to grieve. Let’s pray for each other. Sending love from Oklahoma.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my long term partner suddenly as well 8 weeks ago. We do not have children but it does not make it any less a struggle. Your description is correct - it is a nightmare. We live through the wreckage daily while our friends and family return home and resume where they left off which makes it difficult for us to explain and sometimes even justify to others. Every minute of every day is a struggle. I wish I had a solution but there is none. Grief never leaves us but hopefully it softens more with time so that we are not struggling each and every minute of every day. I feel your pain. Bless you and your family. Your children are blessed to have a strong mother. Enjoy the coffee.

Lori, you are precious to the Lord and to me as your sister in Christ. We are on this journey together. Yes, the devil is always going around like a roaring lion, even when we are grieving. Happened to me when I started my grief journey when I lost my son. Satan is a liar! I rebuke him in the name of Jesus! We grieve but we grieve with the hope we have in Christ Jesus. Totally ignore anyone who would try to judge you and your grief journey. We are in Christ Jesus and like you said, we stand firm in our faith. There are those of us out here who love you and your family and we have never met. We are bonded as believers. I am lifting you and your children up to the Father every single day. Jesus is walking us home and we need one another's compassion. Don't let anyone tell you how to grieve. One day at a time, trusting God is how I have spent the last 12 years since my son went home to be with Jesus at age 46. Grieve is heartbreaking some days and we need to cry out to the Lord alone, knowing He is our comfort. Love you my sister in the Lord.

Please continue doing what the Holy Spirit has placed on your heart to do. I lost my husband 11 months ago and there's not much online that deals with this kind of grief. It's not something to "get over" and whoever says that has obviously never been through this kind of grief. Be strong in God and know you are helping hurting people.❤

She constantly reminds me she will never ever get over it! It’s completely not an option!!! Why do people think you’ll ever get over a loss of a loved one! Your life truly never will be the same! We lost our mother very tragically and suddenly 27 years ago and I miss her every single day!
